Hal Gould was a principal originator of the Camera Obscura Gallery in 1979 at the corner of 13th and Bannock Streets in Denver. It now represents perhaps the finest collection of Fine Art Photography between the East and West coasts of the United States.

Soho Photo Gallery is a not-for-profit cooperative foundation, managed and operated by amembership of over 100 artists.
The gallery was founded in 1971 by a group of freelancers and fine art photographers in a small Soho space.
They moved a few years later into neighboring Tribeca, building the gallery in the spacious rooms of a former egg warehouse.
