We are interested in the Natural Environment, the Agricultural Environment, the Industrial Environment, and the Social Environment.  Hi Everyone,
Team ‘06 is pleased to announce that entries are now open for the Face of 2006 International Photographic Modelling Competition. The finals will be held in New Zealand.
A week-long festival is planned which will take the finalists on a journey around some of the most spectacular parts of New Zealand, model for professional photographers, be the focus of major events in their honour and participate in the finals and prize-giving evening. The media will also be interviewing the finalists and there will be a strong media presence covering this event.
The Face off 2005, this year, was the first time this competition was brought to 138 countries around the world.
Now the Face of 2006 is being organised to really go global !!!!
The focus will once again be on Hamilton City, New Zealand’s 4th largest city.
The finals will be conducted in front of an audience of 1500-2000 people, with industry personalities judging the finalists, along with the Face of 2005 winners, who will be coming back to New Zealand as guest judges.
Already we have 8 countries represented and this time we have included mini folios for each entrant. The whole competition for 2006 has been upgraded with bigger sponsors, a longer time in New Zealand and a lot more activity to be enjoyed by all the finalists.
So for those who would like to come down-under for a great time, so check out the competition and fill in the online entry form. Entry is FREE!!

Entries for the Main Photo Contest are accepted until December 31st. each year.
Entries for the Monthly Photo Contests are due the 20th. of each month.
Over $6,585.00 offered in cash and prizes.

CITY magazine is hosting it's 2nd annual photography contest, with the grand prize of appearing on CITY's Fall '08 Travel issue!
Photographers are asked to submit images that best capture a unique moment in the life of a city or other travel destination. Entries should distill the essence of a particular place into a single image and inspire CITY’s readers to pack their bags and explore the destination themselves.
The deadline for submissions for the ONE CITY, MANY DESTINATIONS photo contest has been EXTENDED to 11:59 p.m. EST on July 31, 2008.
A jury of internationally renowned photography and travel aficionados will pick one winning image to appear on the cover of CITY's Fall '08 Travel issue. The work of 15 additional runners-up will appear in a special travel photography portfolio inside CITY's Fall '08 Travel issue.
The grand-prize winner will also receive a prize package that includes: An Olympus E-3 SLR digital camera with an ED 12-60mm F2.8/4.0 SWD Lens and a dream CITY photography assignment: The opportunity to shoot a sponsored-editorial travel photography story on Austria's art, architecture, and design landscape for City's 2009 Spring Travel issue. During a week-long trip for two to Voralberg/Bregenz, Tirol/Innsbruck, Salzburg, and Vienna, the grand-prize winner will explore the country's most stunning locations, their new Olympus cameras at the ready. The Austrian Tourist Office will pick up the tab on the whole experience from round-trip airfare and rooms at luxurious hotels to gourmet meals at top restaurants.
All 15 runners-up will also win an Olympus E-420 SLR digital camera with a 14mm-42mm F3.5/5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens.

An ongoing monthly photo contest for teens ages 13 to 19. It has no entrance fee and the first place prize is a spread on the homepage with the photographer's bio and up to two links--normally e-mail and homepage. 2nd and 3rd place get their pictures places in the gallery. A NEW CONTEST so we need as many submissions as we can get! Also have other contests, such as art, music, etc.

Nontzeberri cultural web site and Pripublikarrak, an interdisciplinary group that aimed to analyse the possibilities of the arts and feminism, organize the event Rolling Rolak that embraces three moments involving various degrees of participation. The first step of Rolling Rolak is the 1st edition of Argazklik.com Digital Photography Contest. All Rolling Rolak and the on line contest (www.argazklik.com) as well, wishes to think about the roles we have, which we invent, or which have been enforced on us, and to think beyond the masculine/feminine, male/female, traditional man/woman binary.
Works must be made up of three inter-related photographs, which may or may not form a narrative. Registering is free. The deadline to submit for the competition will be 21st May 2008 (13.00 p.m. local time).
The competition offers the following awards:
- First Award: 3.000 euros
- Second Award: 2.000 euros
- Third Award: 1.000 euros
- Artistic Production Prize: Arteleku arts centre will help the production undertake a photographic project of 500 euros.
